There's something charmingly romantic about this one - the delicate flowers, the sweet colours (incidentally some of my favourite colours). I can't help but think of quiet conversations over a candle-lit dinner.

I've always been a fan of pearls, even more so of long pearl necklaces - they feel dressy and immediately give any outfit a classy uplift.

Something about this one reminded us of the Memoirs of a Geisha. Perhaps its the Oriental patterns on the beads or the flowers that look very much like the sakura.

My guess? I think it's the dramatic contrasts of the colours. In my minds eye, I can imagine the young Geisha's passionate dance - the dramatic movements, the redness of her lips and the bursts of rhythm.

I've always loved the sea - the breeze, the smell of the ocean, the sandcastles, the kites. Growing up, I had a pretty impressive collection of seashells, little keepsakes from my trips to the beach. I can't help but love this piece, for it's lovely colour (notice how the shell beads take on different colours at different angles) and for the seashells that remind so much of the beach.

The earrings are equally exquisite, the crystal clear beads playing off the sun's rays.
