Soft, demure, like something out of a Jane Austen novel. My all-time favourite is Emma, the story of the self-assured matchmaker who eventually falls in love herself. Austen's novels never fail to conjure up images of women dressed to the nines, wearing pearl necklaces and bejeweled earrings, dancing to the merry music.
